Sometimes JDM's blog can be a little too serious. For those of you who agree, I submit the following.
It's about 3 minutes long, but a perfect example of a creative, low-cost way to communicate a marketing message that doesn't feel like a sales pitch. Enjoy!

this is a really nice way to communicate a marketing message

JD, I laughed...I cried... I cringed. Good stuff. Funny stuff. But painfully true, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHaving been on both sides of that conversation, it's all too true. Internal marketing is a critical management concept that is difficult to explain, let alone define. Throughout my work in retail and B2B, I've defined internal marketing simply as the application of marketing inside an organization to instill customer-focused values. For some reason, it's always out of balance. Either top-management buys in and the field or service delivery does not, or the other way around.
The key for the marketing manager is to determine early on which is the harder sell.
